Monday is my first day back at school for me and it starts at 9 in the morning on the east coast. My school has a lowly 2 mac which happen to be iMacs out of maybe 30 computers catering to about 80 kids... Somehow someway though i'm going to be sitting on one of those two iMacs and watching the keynote via Quicktime. Regardless. You?

As close to the front row as I can get. I'm getting in line about 6:00AM.

Classes start for me on Tues, so I'll be back at college Monday most likely... hopefully I won't be on my way back while the keynote is going on. Planning on seeing it via Quicktime at college.

Even being at the front of the line gets you nowhere near the front row. <img src="graemlins/bugeye.gif" border="0" alt="[Skeptical]" />

    Take Monday off from work.

Sunday night take a sleeping bag, a thermos of coffee and my iPod to the Aspen Grove store.

Sleep on the sidewalk like a kid waiting for a concert. Hope this rates up there with Pink Floyd.

What happens if a thousand people descend on each Apple store? Will they close?

quite true... but near enough. I remember the last AppleExpo (Paris), I was there *very* early, was amongst the very first in line. Of course the first few rows are reserved for press/VIPs, but I got a pretty close seat.

Anyways, I'll be in front of my Mac, watching the keynote with QT5 on cable.

I feel a cold coming on for monday (cough, sniffle)

I'll watch it on the big screen at Apple Clarendon. The sales people assured me that they will be hooked up via satellite but did caution that the connection may get dropped.

Keynote starts at noon (EST). Monday is my first day back at school...i can't really skip the first day (plus i have kind of important classes).

My plan is 2 come home right after school and catch teh repeat. I can get home before 3, so i figure the repeat will start pretty soon after the keynote ends. If anything i'll just miss Steve babbling about how successful the ipod, etc has been.

I will start the stream playing before i leave for school, hopefully it will still be going when i get home.

I wish i could watch it live, but that isn't really a realistic hope...unless there is a massive snow storm that causes school 2 be closed...hmmm

Ditto. At least I'm going to try and see it that way. With 56k monster bandwidth at my disposal, it's always an adventure. Sometimes Steve's head torso and legs separate on my screen and they end up on opposite sides of the stage while he's still talking. Try that with DSL!

    56k Modem, QT5 Stream.

My Performa could never handle QT streams (only ever got Audio - if I was lucky) Hopefully my new iMac will work ok and it's not down to my ISP or overloaded servers.

The Apple Store in Kenwood Mall (Cincinnati-EST). I am getting a note to leave school around 11:15. I hope its not too crowded. It shouldn't be too bad with work and school both going on at the same time... though I have no frame of reference.

I'll beat lundy in line. I'm flying out to SFO on Saturday. For those of you who have school, ask the local college to make a video tape off of the satellite feed.

I was invited by Apple to watch the MWNY01 keynote. I will be viewing this keynote by quicktime stream. I hope my connection will be ok because I dont want to have the stream break up during a product intro. I have a very high speed connection though.
