Off the top of my head, the only caveat I have to his post is that the video iPod will likely only be available in a larger size (prolly not the smaller sizes). So maybe only available in 60G.
Also, I can still dream we'll see Power5-based G5 (i.e., >> 970, 970fx).
Well assuming that the rumors of apple making secret off the books XServe sales to the US government aren't true (meaning yields are the real problem)
There is no need to assume anything. Apple publicly accused this spring IBM for poor yields, holding up XServe G5 shipping. IBM on their side, acknowledged that the issues are real and, although the situation was improving, they were not where they wanted to be. All this was April-May. But, judging from the XServe estimated shipping, which remains almost unchanged from the announcement back in January (!), I suspect that the situation either remains steady or, if it is improving, it does rather slowly. I would not hold my breath for a G5 iMac in this update.
