The point you're missing here is we see Bush as undermining the american ideals not upholding them.
It's not part of the american ideals to make up stories so you can go to war for another agenda.
This whole Iraq thing has been one big screw up after another and Bush keeps changing the reason we went there to fit the current situation.
So you see we are actually pro U.S. by trying to keep our government's actions on track with our ideals.
Of course you are so buried in the other way of thinking that I doubt you'll ever see this but it was worth a try.
