I'll take you through it real slowly. First, who is that quote by?

Accuse the media of 'liberal bias' as often as you like, it's still a myth...anyone with half a brain who actually reads or watches the news knows this.

What should she have asked him? His favorite color? She asked him the questions that her viewers wanted answered. That's what a journalist is supposed to do, and the Bush admin has gotten a free ride for far too long.

You know, I agree that she could have been a little more respectful...but I also believe that you are supposed to earn respect, not recieve it automatically because of your job.

I think Naples means the news isn't conservative enough. I mean, where are the calls to put black people back into their place? Why are there women reporters--shouldnt they be in the home?

Sure, the media being a moutpiece of this administration is fine and dandy, but what about the social issues that every conservative holds so dearly?

Fine, I'll answer it for you: the founder of the modern conservative media movement.

Now, when the godfather of the conservative media makes the same statements (criticism of bush and the Iraq war) that you automatically attribute to liberal media bias, it really blows your whole argument out of the water.

Let's clarify even further. You brought that one quote up not me. Like I said, I can, with ease produce quotes all day long.

Why bother, just call me some names and question my intelligence. Get it over with. We both know that is what will happen if this conversation goes any further.

Let's just end it here. You made a valid point. You're right, as usual.

Except that the godfather of the conservative media also criticizes the Iraq war and Bush, so unless you claim he's an agent of the liberal media, you are FOS.

He's not a king. One of the difference between the US and Europe is that in Europe the press doesn't always treat their politicians as infallible. We should adopt that. Chase in point: Cheney, "I never said [pretty well confirmed]." She should have nailed him.

Bush was spouting rhetoric in this interview and rambling near incoherently. He needed to be interrupted.

Oh I thought he was a flip-flopper. If he change his mind all the time how can he not be moderate?
