Apparently, the new FCC regulations do not apply to FOX News.

Then again, they're cable?

    thats a photoshop job

    1) if that had run, there would be outrage in the rest of the medis, they would see an open to bring FNC down

    2) The "Majority" report? while slightly more bareable than the foxnews poster boy, and all around dickhead, bill O'riley, they are VERY bias and HATEFULL.

and if it werent for FNC, libnet would have to...idunno, come up with original names for all of their programming, and dear me, where would franken get the name for his book?

If anyone takes action against Fox for showing a dick in a hole america really have its priorities fucked up.

Then at least ten million people would use at least ten minutes reading, listening about it and three hunam lifes would have been lost.

    Now thats funny.

"Won´t happen again". No not after the management made him choose between hormones that would make him forget anything connected to the subject and the pink slip.

Hell, yeah they should be fined. The FCC jerkoffs are all about censorship so they should go after everyone equally. Oh, unless you are Oprah. Then you can do whatever you want.

How about fining all the stations that showed kidnapped U.S. Marine Wassef Ali Hassoun's identity information uncensored?

Anyone want a Social Security number?

    Media: Mosaic that shit.

No but there have been at least two times that Oprah has discussed topics that Stern did and he took heat. As a matter of fact the subject that got Stern yanked from Clear Channel stations was on Oprah in a more graphic nature and when the FCC was asked if she would be fined, the reply was "she is too beloved and popular".

    THEY CAN"T AND SHOULDN'T be fined PERIOD>

FNC is catv/sat TV, the decency standards apply only to OTA am/fm/TV broadcasts, not cable and satellite, it is the advertisers that keep the reigns tight on basic cable.

furthermore, fining FNC for these occurrences would set a dangerous precedent, the FCC could then fine websites, why not, it falls under the same classification, communication via wire (Ethernet for internet, cable for TV) or private wireless (Wi-Fi for the internet, satellite transition for TV) connection that is widely available to the general population.

So now all you neolibs are trying to use the FCC to silence a TeeVee network you don't agree with? Stalin would be proud!

Intelligence would lead someone to read this situation a little differently.

More like the ultra-conservative Moving America Forward which has been trying to silence a movie (Fahrenheit 911), they disagree with. Mussolini would be proud.

I was watching a major network television station the other day, and they had a long segment about the porn industry . . . It was pretty shocking that they were discussing this stuff on TV . . . I mean, they were talking about Double Anal Penetration Gangbangs!! and casually at that . . . the whole thing seemed like a veiled titillation piece with a pretense to 'get behind the scenes' and fix all the problems etc . . .

But you know what, I don't care, or I care little and think it should not be legislated or censored . . . because that's freedom baby. If you don't like it change the station. . . or don't get a TV.

...And when the woman has four penises in her at the same time, then stands over the men and pees on them, is that part of being in love too?

Five midgets, spanking a man... covered in Thousand Island dressing. Is that "making love"?

Sorta like useing the senate to silence Rush limbaugh

If ya cant beat them, make THIER speach illegal

And why can no anti-free-speach liberal here answer my piont that the fcc has no control over cable television, if they exercise control they dont have, this would be a huge danger to the internet, bloggers be ware.

    after thought:

If you libs are so offended by this, check out MTV or comedy central, and let us not forget a cartoon about a stripper on spike tv, and lifetime just for good measure, all of those sexist wife-beater flix must be contributing to sociatal decay,

If you want to go after lude content, go for it, but dont single out FNC or any other one service, be fair and ballanced.

Both of you are totally nuts. Who are you referring to? Existence is the only person here coming close to advocating fining them.

Sad, sad, sad that you are so blatantly arguing with phantasms. Maybe if you hop down off your soap box you'll see that your enemy is a figment of your imagination.
