Graphics Card Advice
I'm going to be purchasing a new Dual GHz machine in the near future (next few weeks) - and my biggest question about making the order is what graphics card to buy... I will be doing gaming on the machine, no question about it, so I'll need a card that will at least play the most recent games (WC3 for instance - and in particular) on high-quality video settings at very good framerates. I'd like to cut costs as much as possible, but I'm not sure that the GeForce 4MX is up to the task, and I'm apprehensive about uprading to the GeForce 4Ti because of the cost/value ratio.
The question that I'm asking is this: what are people's impressions with the Radeon 9000 (the standard card for the dual GHz machine) vs. the MX and the Ti, and is there somewhere that I can see performance tests between the cards on a machine similar to the new Dual GHz PowerMac?
Thanks for the input!

If I were you (and actually I am in your exact situation), I'd go with the RADEON9000PRO.
The GeForce4MX is too crippled (slow/primitive GPU, too little onboard RAM) and the GeForce 4Ti is simply too expensive IMHO
If you end up finding out that the RADEON isn't enough for your demands, get the RADEON 9700 PRO when it's out. I will kick GF4Ti ass, and will be worth it even when considering it's pretty phat price-tag.
On a side note - I was at my local CompUSA (the only Mac retailer around here in the sticks <img src="graemlins/oyvey.gif" border="0" alt="[No]" /> ) today, and a took a gander at the new PowerMacs... <img src="graemlins/smokin.gif" border="0" alt="[Chilling]" />
