Looks a bit cheap and plastic.

But it has been available since January 6, 2003 according to the details on the webpage.

I don't know what it is but Amazon says it's been available since Jan. 2003 so I suppose it's pretty old.

Perhaps they meant iBook or Monitor stand... otherwise its quite strange. The only iMac that could be used with that stand is a broken iMac. What a pity to break that awesome mechanical arm.

Ok, so now we know about the iMac G5, lets further debunk this "stand" thing.

If its VESA compliant then yes, perhaps it could be used with the new iMac. However, if the iMac just sits in the stand's "slot", where do the power and USB cables go?

The picture on Amazon does look like the iMac could snap right in.

Boy, you'd think someone would just hop over to MacAlly... As someone above said, think iBook and Powerbook, not iMac.

My thoughts exactly. Who would stick a beautiful looking Powerbook on that thing?
