I forgot where I read it, but Apple recently forced the developer to remove the download link.

    Yea, me too pretty please.

Now that it doesn't exist, I want it even more. Even though I have no immediate use for it.

Well, if AppleInsider's ISP shuts them off at least I'll know why.

I saw the story, and I saw the download yesterday -- but I was at work on a PC. Should have downloaded it then and there anyway!

    btw, thanks!

This might sound a little stupid, but why not just upload it as a torrent file to some geocities account or better yet, suprnova.org, since then EVERYONE can get it, and it will be available to all as a community resource....

<< cough cough thank you cough cough>>

What are the chances that since Apple knows about this plug in, and have already shut down the main site for it.... that they will put their own plug in in to 4.7 that disables the iPoddownload? (I think that makes sense)

I think that may run into some legal issues. Apple opened up iTunes by adding the ability to support plug-ins. They don't have to right to police every 3rd party plugin made and have the final say on which ones they support and disable the others. Of course, who has the financial support to take them to court over this. \ Yes, it is their software but to be fair, if they don't want people making plugins, remove the feature altogether. I like whitecap, G-force, and Gaslight, among others and hope they remain.
