I saw twi different 17" at two different stores this weekend.
The viewing angle on 17 is understated by apple yo make the 20 sound that much better. I was amazed at the quality of the 17 and the biewing angle was bright and clear out to 170.

Better than my samsung
I agree with you. i heard many complain about how crappy the display was but perhaps they were only looking at stats and not at the actual display. I saw a 17" in person yesterday and the viewing angle (horizontal) is fantastic, the vertical was not as great, but was far from "sucking ass" as some have said. plus the thing tilts with the lightest of touch and then holds its position obediently. It was bright, the colors were very vibrant and the contrast was better than on my samsung 152t, which is a solid monitor in its own right. this will be a great dvd player for the bedroom.
october 14th cant come too soon! i will have to take the day off work for certain.
What is the reason for those who have ordered and received your 17" 1.8 to choose 17" but not 20" ? I'm interested to hear from you. Thanks.
1. $750CAN + 7% tax
2. 3kg (8lbs)
3. I believe in the right size as well, bigger is not always better. i dont want my imac to dominate the room, i have a decor, i dont live in a college dorm, i already have a large television. also allowed me to get the bluetooth setup and still feel like i got a great deal )
when you buy your memory, be sure to get matched sticks so you can use dual channel (see other threads in this forum).
Also, I don't know about stores in HK, but on the online store is US, you can get a HP printer for free, if you order before Sept. 25 and order with your computer. Item # TA521LL/A $96 with a $99 rebate so they actually pay you $3 to buy it.
