Grey squirrel of some variety about the size of a large rat.
Star fish -- sea star? -- in a cove off the North Pacific. In the background you can sea anemones
Large slug. Large. It did not survive the night, my host's dog stepped on it shortly after this photograph was taken (sorry about the focus, my camera of choice sucks at anything but medium distances and nice lighting).
I should fire up the cam for some of the beasts down here on the Florida Coast. There's a very nice state park which, among other types of fauna, is replete with manatees.
Otherwise, the only animals I see fairly often are the geckos that are everywhere along the beachfront. I woke up one night when a gecko was crawling across my face. At least they control the insect population like it's their job.

In fact, it is their job.
