So what are we to call the two new family members? You know, like the TiBook and iceBook.
Two really unoriginal suggestion: MonsterBook and MiniBook.
Come up with something original and start a trend?

[Al]uminum [Po]wer[Book]
(yes, shamelessly stolen from the Mac Achaia)
MiniBook for the 12
PowerPorttfolio or PowerMacro for the 17"
MiniBook for the 12

Hey nyou got something there. macroBook (the name is as ugly as the product) and microBook. Or maBook/miBook (meaning both micro and mini)
17" - Lapzilla
babybook.
i like that.
MammaBook 15
BabyBook 12
or...
SuperBook
SubBook
The 17" is more like an entire library, or at least a 20-tome encyclopedia. So Lapzilla fits the bill.
Escher
Or Gimli and lapzilla maybe:9

Just don't let Jonathan Ives name it. The man can't even pronounce the word.
al-oo-min-eee-um

That's how you would pronounce it too if you Americans could spell it correctly.
It should be spelt "aluminIum" rather than "aluminum". Every other chemical element ends in -IUM (sodium, calcium, rubidium etc) which is why the correct spelling is "aluminIUM" How would you pronounce that?

I'm a Canadian. Hell, if we had it our way, we'd add another 'u' in there somewhere.
