So what are we to call the two new family members? You know, like the TiBook and iceBook.

Two really unoriginal suggestion: MonsterBook and MiniBook.

Come up with something original and start a trend?

I'd call them Dr. Evil and Mini-Me because of the small guy that did the new commercial also did Mini-Me. I am a big Austin Powers fan, as you allready guessed... ;-)

I like aluBook for the 12".

The 17" is more like an entire library, or at least a 20-tome encyclopedia. So Lapzilla fits the bill.

Just don't let Jonathan Ives name it. The man can't even pronounce the word.

    al-oo-min-eee-um

"There's nothing like this new al-oo-min-eee-um PowerBook running Jag-wire"

heh heh, get these guys some speech therapy.

That's how you would pronounce it too if you Americans could spell it correctly.

It should be spelt "aluminIum" rather than "aluminum". Every other chemical element ends in -IUM (sodium, calcium, rubidium etc) which is why the correct spelling is "aluminIUM" How would you pronounce that?

I've been hearing AIBook and have been partial to it. Maybe I'll name my new 12" HAL. Either that, or Gigolo Joe, the robot hooker from AI.

OMG don't call me an American.

I'm a Canadian. Hell, if we had it our way, we'd add another 'u' in there somewhere.

interesting, however, in all other languages I know, it's spelled aluminium, so I'd think it's not asking too much from our fellow americans to spell it that way too Then again maybe it is asking too much.
