Going to Crucial for the RAM, any suggestions on how much.
2GB extra (4x512) I was thinking.
2GiB is definitely good.
Spend the extra $$$ to get CL=2* RAM if they are available--you may need to use Crucial's "live" help to find out which ones are CL=2 vs CL=3.
The CL=2 stuff will cost a bit more, but it is worth it
* "CL" or "CASL" is the number of cycles between request and response from the RAM. The system will downgrade its latency to match the slowest responding bank of RAM you have.
