    Try Leica Historical Society of America Look under "Leica Resources." Nothing shown in Washington, but there are several recommended repair facilities in California.

    I think Apple purchasing Leica would be terrific and I like the original post.



    Apple could gain much credibility in the photo world by adding in some innovation but allowing Leica to keep producing its classic products.



    How about an iSight with Leitz lenses?



    How about iPhoto with a built in 7MP leica lens & camera? (I chose 7MP since camera phones are starting to get that resolution...)



    How about a Leica SLR or rangefinder with some Apple user interfaces? clickwheel anyone?

    If Apple bought Leica then their would be another over priced product for 95% of computer users to mock!



    Get realistic people. Since when has quality had something to do with success! We all know the number one example that doesn't!
