I've done a search, and couldn't find anything about this, also PM'd a mod but got no response. Even PM'd Kasper, but he hasn't even read it...

Is it possible to have my user name changed? I don't mind if it can't be changed, but it would be nice if someone could please let me know either way.

Thanks .

Perhaps there is a black hole swallowing up your posts and PMs?

    I'm beginning to wonder .

I know the first PM was read, but the one to Kasper hasn't been read.

Plain ol' mods, like me, can't change your username ... you might want to try sending a PM to Powerdoc.

Or you could just start afresh and be a n00b again.

I had over 500 posts under my belt and just walked away from it so I could change my name. It is only a post count, and a small amount of respect from how long you have been registered.

Naked is used for family members and people you know well who aren't wearing any clothes. Nude is used when you don't know someone all that well and they have no clothes on. It's a bit like the tu and vous thing.

Hassan would have been deeply offended and no doubt quite shocked by my forwardness if I'd asked if he was naked.

Now what does that mean, I wonder.

Does it mean he's been silly enough to believe me, when he really should know better?

Or does it mean he knows I'm bullshitting and now he's indignant that I would try to trick him so cruelly?

The last thing I need is a Frenchman with hurt feelings on my hands.

Hello? Hello? Hey you in the beret. Put the croissant down and listen carefully.

My last post is total rubbish OK? There's no difference between nude and naked. Don't go making a fool of yourself by repeating that to any English speakers because they'll laugh at you and make you cry. Both nude and naked mean "without clothes on". Nude also means a painting of a naked figure. But there is no nude/naked etiquette. Look, I'll prove it to you.

    Hassan, are you nude?

I shall cherish it Monsieur Powerdoc. Merci.

Most of the plebs round here have to come up with their own title. But I get mine conferred from on high. I feel like I've been knighted or something.
