    But as you say, the problem is they are not equal, as Apple will not acknowledge any problem with it, so if you get a pink 23" CD you are stuck with it. Here in NZ the difference between the Apple and Dell displays is much larger ($1800 for Dell, $3000 for Apple) so its a bit of a no brainer, as you can get a very nice PC for $1200 (or a Mac mini + change)

    The money I saved without sacrificing quality or performance allows me to put those savings towards the applications I intend to use and that value is hard to overlook.
