    Thanks, I feel better now.

    I do not know, but QuickTime 7, H.264 specifically, would seem most likely. Right now we can watch videos on our computers, but if Apple encodes the videos with H.264 and they release an AirPort Express with QuickTime then we might be able to watch the videos on our TVs, or any video we encode ourselves using the H.264 codec.

    They could put syncing in the apps that make sense, that is what I would like to see...

    Hell, what if DVD ripping was even allowed. Some DRM would have to be installed, but otherwise it could actually be like iTunes for video, complete with "Video Store" feature.

    iTunes is not aimed at you, it's aimed at the average person who really can't hear the difference between 128k AAC and a CD.

    Do you have any data to back up your ramblings?

    I really hope that Apple fixes the issues with smart playlists where referencing another smart playlist keeps your filter from working correctly. Well, it is not really a problem in iTunes, but something between the playlist in iTunes and how it is synced to the iPod.

    I have a smart playlist that reference several regular playlists to get a list of available files for TechPodcasts.com associates.

    I then have a second smart playlist that is as follows:

    Playlist=SmartPlayList1 and Play Count = 0

    No matter what I do, when I play a song on the iPod Mini from this playlist, it does not disappear from the playlist after it is played all the way through. It works correctly in iTunes.
