That is an urban myth isn't it? I can't imagine Jobs agreeing to that.
Yeah, I can't verify it but it would make sense as to why Apple has changed advertising strategies. But then people don't like change or negative campaigning. Maybe the hardware ads is more productive. Show them a product they want.
