I assume peameal bacon is what they market to us as "canadian Bacon." They are both pretty good as far as I can tell.
You're probably getting back bacon. Peameal has a distinctive appearance to it (it's rolled in corn meal). Both are fantastic (of course, I am biased being Canadian)
