Macromedia Director 8 (Still waiting for X version)
Macromedia Dreamweaver (ditto)
Adobe Photoshop (ditto)
Adobe Premiere (ditto)
Adobe After Effects
3D Studio Max (win NT)
Macromedia Freehand

Quark Xpress
Curious Labs Poser (still waiting for proper X version)
Funny thing is that my bosses keep telling me we should move to winXP cos all that software is available for pc at higher speeds and less cost yada yada yada . . .
<strong>Entourage is nice. Nicer than OS X's Mail, which seems a bit weird and inconstent and not very full-featured.
Would be cool if the guys who made OmniWeb made a cool little companion e-mail app too.
Do they?</strong><hr></blockquote>
I've heard some good things about Entourage (And a few bad), but I don't really want to have to pay out to upgrade my version of Word - that I never use - just to get Entourage.
I'd love to see the OmniGroup guys have a go at a mail app, but considering there appears to be a team of two working on OmniWeb, I'd prefer to see better JavaScript, CSS and XML support in that first.

Dreamweaver is *not* faster on Windows than on Mac. It's painfully slow everywehere...
Since I spose the "Finder" won't count in some people's eyes, I will also toss in Newton Connection Kit 1.0 [via Classic, all others run native].
Oh and Applenut - FCP 3.0 is not one of my top ten most used applications but it is really sweet, sigh, I wish a had a G4 to use the real time effects.

Given that half of those apps don't currently have an OS X version, I'm still spending most of my time in OS 9.
Once Macromedia starts shipping the other apps, and DVD Studio Pro goes to OS X, I'll make the switch permanently.
And Internet Explorer will become OmniWeb (Hopefully there'll be improved JavaScript support by then - I can wait a while longer for XML).
And then I have to decide how to best replace Outlook Express, which has served me so well for so long.

I've heard some good things about Entourage (And a few bad), but I don't really want to have to pay out to upgrade my version of Word - that I never use - just to get Entourage.
I'm also looking at Eudora (Though I've never really been a big fan), <a href="http://www.ctmdev.com/powermail3.shtml" target="_blank">PowerMail</a>, and <a href="http://www.cyrusoft.com/mulberry/" target="_blank">Mulberry</a>.

Infinity or Aleph One (source.bungie.org)?
If Aleph One, do you use Cranberry at all?
Oh, my list...
1. REALbasic 4 - For almost all of my programming needs. I've been working on <a href="http://homepage.mac.com/mbenonis/cranberry/" target="_blank">Cranberry</a> for almost 9 months now. It's an XML editor for Aleph One. I've also made a nice little math app called <a href="http://homepage.mac.com/mbenonis/radicalsimplifier/" target="_blank">Radical Simplifier</a>.
2. Entourage X - Email, calendar, etc.
3. iCab - 90% of web browsing
4. BBEdit Lite - HTML, data files, you name it.
5. Resourcerer - Resource editing
6. iTunes - Music
7. ViaVoice X - School Project
