heheh, I actually just bought a Roomba Discovery yesterday and also bought the scheduler remote and scheduler invisible wall.

Also bought a Metapo Cleanmate that I did a small review on for roombareview.com

If your going to buy a roomba, get it from here:

    http://www.hammacher.com/

They offer an unconditional Lifetime Guarantee that people at this forum rave about. If your roomba ever starts to fail, you just give them a call and they ship you a box and prepaid label and give you a new one. And in the case when version 2.0 came out with the Discovery, Red, and Sage, they upgrade you for free if you had a roomba original and called.

Anyone have a list of such devices? I have in the past noted that there was a wide price range between roomba and some others. Which ones actually work well? What are they? Been searching with little luck...

Roomba works. The rest is just too expensive, too huge (over one foot high) and/or doesn´t work

Check out roomba review, they did a test over some common "affordable" AI vacuums, ones that don't cost over 500 dollars.

I also did a mini review of the Metapo Cleanmate whose product page is seen here

    http://www.metapo.com/products/home/cleanmate.php

At $85 it's really affordable, does a decent job.

But Roomba always kicks in the end.

So I got a Roomba and am loving it so far. The first time I used it I felt like a babysitter, but now that I know how it works and its pros and cons I know it can run unsupervised and will do a good job!

Now, just need to set the schedule stuff...

Oh god, the European one is awesome.
