I like a lot of films with a quiet pace, like "The Pledge".

Especially one, where a police officers is given few weeks to live by his doctor by mistake and hires a contract killer to kill him off and when he discovers the mistake he is unable call the contract off (YEs, much like "I hired a contract killer"). Anyone knows the name of it?

Charles Chaplins movies. Just saw the great dictator yesterday.

And of course "The Celebration" by Thomas Vinterberg and "Breaking The Waves" and "Europa" by Lars von Trier
