there is no Santa Claus.



This part was so dramatic. I can just imagine the tramatized six year old intoning this as if her lifeforce has been drained.

    oh please can it. the simple fact is that the woman's a dick for a.) ruining the magic on her own and b.) not letting the parents decides when, if ever, they decide to reveal the truth, or let it reveal itself over time. and there was never anything said that there will BE a "santa claus policy," just that there wasn't one. you inferred the "...yet." in your own head all on your own. real cheap heat, there.

    My Kindergarten teacher told us there is no Santa Clause and I was crushed. I went to a "fire and brimstone" Baptist school so anything that might have gotten more attention than God was leaning toward the Devil so they felt justified in making sure I knew "the truth".
