Apple released Bluetooth Firmware Update

Apple on Tuesday released a 1.5 MB "Bluetooth Firmware Update for Mac OS X 10.4.3." According to a brief set of release notes, the update improves Bluetooth performance and reliability issues. The Bluetooth Firmware Updater supports D-Link USB Adapters and Apple internal Bluetooth modules on the following CPUs: iMac G4 (Gooseneck), 12" Titanium, PowerBook, 15" Titanium PowerBook, iMac G5 and Mac Mini.

    Of course, there is no such thing as a 12-inch Titanium PowerBook, and the 15-inch (only) Titanium PowerBook had no Bluetooth capability of its own.

    It also appears to be an update for iBook users as well.

    It also appears to be just an update of the previous updater, not anything new.



    It wouldn't install on my Macs as I was already on the Firmware Rev from the previous version of the updater.
