With as much bias as your earlier comment?

There are are valid reasons for both "renting" and/or "owning" music.

Within 48 hrs of signing up, I was calling real DEANDING it be terminated because that is the only way to cancel the account. took them 3 days and 5 calls...The magic phrase turned out to be something like "I will get a stop payment if you bill me for another month"

Real, making AOL look like a saint.

Lots of things would say "requiers windows" and that pissed me off.

Tell that to Blockbuster, Netflix and so on, Honestly, renting online music isnt bad, when you "buy" it you still have little conrol because of DRM.

The 128 bit quality isnt anything to write home about either

obviously itunes is the best service out there but why not have a subscription service? why would this be a negative move by apple? if they still offer non-members the ability to purchase music than whats the big deal?

the only real problem i have with Itunes is the amount of underground or less well known groups being available to purchase.

i'd like to see more songs from the underground scene and such
