Abbreviations Used in Posts - Submit here

I recently joined and was amazed by all of the abbreviations people were using in their messages; it was like another language.

Then I noticed other people were having the same difficulty I was in decyphering some of them, leading to some rather hilarious ideas.

Thus this thread: to help us make sense out of all the abbreviations. Heck, supposeedly the US military has a dictionary for all of the ones it uses. We need one, too.

My hope would be that there will be lots of serious submissions and that the silly ones are posted too, as they can be quite creative and entertaining.

As the thread progressees, I will try to "sum up" the serious ones for the newbies out there, and laugh along at the crazy ones.

Let's have some fun, and get some work done.8)

Wouldn't that need to be YTRCBPAYOHA3WTL since "T" could be two, three, ten, twelve, thirteen, twenty, twenty-one.....

I don't know why, but there's something distinctly cyrillic about that acronym. That is, if I were walking around the former USSR, I wouldn't be surprised if I saw a big red sign glaring at me with:

    YTRCBPAYOHA3WTL!
