You don't understand. The fact is, Apple should have been open about it. I trust that Apple probably isn't going to report me to the RIAA, but I don't appreciate being spied on.
Your reasoning would suggest that you would also support President Bush's secret wiretaps.
I know you say that your principles apply only to this particular case, but you now have conflicting beliefs and principles that are not universal. You either need to restate your argument or you are now in an illogical position.
