The ultimate light modeling app?

in Mac Software edited January 2014
Hello, my father is an architect and he needs an application where he has full control over the light parameters. I mean, an app that has almost everything.. though no amazing light effects but scientific input and output (not only a visual rendering). He is mostly working with ADesign (, but the output (data) is inadequate. Has anybody an idea? Thanks! -Papilio

    lightscape 3.2

PC only, but one of the best architectural rendering apps available. Radiosity and very accurate light level representations.

    Ditto what Cowerd said:

Lightscape. It's been a while since I've read-up on it, but it uses all sorts of incredible control over real-world-type lighting parameters. The results are breathtaking.

Thank's cowerd & Scott Finlayson, It's a pity that it's not for OSX but it's great to see that something is out there..
