The ultimate light modeling app?

Hello, my father is an architect and he needs an application where he has full control over the light parameters. I mean, an app that has almost everything.. though no amazing light effects but scientific input and output (not only a visual rendering). He is mostly working with ADesign (www.pictogramme.fr), but the output (data) is inadequate. Has anybody an idea? Thanks! -Papilio

    lightscape 3.2

PC only, but one of the best architectural rendering apps available. Radiosity and very accurate light level representations.

    Ditto what Cowerd said:

Lightscape. It's been a while since I've read-up on it, but it uses all sorts of incredible control over real-world-type lighting parameters. The results are breathtaking.

Thank's cowerd & Scott Finlayson, It's a pity that it's not for OSX but it's great to see that something is out there..
