Absolutely not, I wouldn't give Dell, HP, Compaq, etc. the time of day, let alone my money. If you use OS X without buying a Mac then you are not contributing to the creators of the software, and you're harming it in the long run by ensuring fewer resources for the developers of OS X over at Apple. Thanks for making the software suck for everyone else! Also, what OS are you running? It's pretty obvious that it's not OS X as the system-wide built-in spellchecker would have flagged your dubious spelling of "thanks."

Relax! I'm @ work.. Unfortunatly there are no macs here... My iMac is @home.. but yes! you're absolutely right! I shouldn't & neither any of the mac users out there.. I guess I'll have to save more money to buy me another mac...
If legal, absolutely. Apple doesn't make ATX type towers or DTR notebooks. I'd like not to have to choose between the OS I want or the hardware I want.
If and when Apple's internal calculations reveal that they would make more money on OS X sales than they would lose on hardware sales, they will do it. It's as simple as that.
The fact that they have not done it as of today says to me that their projections show a net loss in that scenario. If it's like the "Windows Corporate" uberleet gamerz, Apple would sell ONE copy of Tiger x86 and it would get installed on 11,471 NewEgg orders.

Crunchy fresh and warm.
OS X on a pc
ewwww!
Go outside and play in traffic.
Apple will try to stop it, but people will definitely be doing it, they already have.
But as an apple shareholder and avid user. I hope that your PC is as slow or slower than Windows.
I also hope that you bought that copy of Tiger that you are running on non supported hardware.

Or that your computer fails to boot.
Or that your crops don't come in.
Or, that you get a really painful cramp.
That's what!!
