    My answer is that if you don't KNOW that you need a dual, then you don't need a dual. Many people didn't KNOW that they needed a dual, but bought one anyway, either because they didn't know what else to do with their $3499, or because they thought "Hmm, it's the most expensive so it must be the best for every user" and now they're disappointed.

    Is P-shop 7 (for OS X) going to be multi-threaded? If someone can answer that, then you'll have your answer right there.

    Since Photoshop 6 is already MP aware, I imagine Photoshop 7 will be too.
