    You know what I love about the new UI stuff coming out of Redmond?



    It keeps all the jarring conceptual randomness but swaddles it in the soothing pastels and low contrast tones of a suburban mental health clinic.



    And, of course, there's the promise the Vista will take all that and trick it out with transparency and screen effects borrowed from Apple but witlessly deployed.



    So what do you end up with? Thorazine!



    A forced march into groggy mellowness and pleasant visuals sitting just on top of a swirling cauldron of madness and hair pulling disorientation.

    You know the blue they use is too relaxing. They should use a bright red. A nice "GET YOUR ASS BACK TO WORK" reminder.
