Buitl-in iSight for 1! If you don't see that coming, you should go back to bed. The'll probably do the thinner/lighter thing too
Good point. I was thinking spec wise. It was early and I did go back to bed.
I feel better now. Thank you.
Yes, That makes total sense. Do a complete revamp of the Powermac and complete the transition. Show off the new Powermac Ive design along with Leopard and a new Ived Cinema Display.
Kick up the RDF by saying the transition is over! On to the future.
Show off new MBP design? with Conroe? as the one more thing...
I see a lot of people talking about Apple and updating the iPods. What do you think they could do to them to make them better at this point? I mean they just released to Video iPods not to long ago. Do you think they will update the whole line? I can't see Apple doing that. Anyone else have any thoughts?
Why the wasn't on the first iPod half a decade ago... I don't know. I missed out on recording lectures the last 4 years of college. Steve if you are reading this I am pissed and I am holding you personally accountable!!
I hope they add it by the time I'm in law school...
This pisses me off so much I have to make it my new sig. Along with Hibernate for OS X. 8)
Apple's Intel procesors will drop in price by end of May. Apple has history of holding price point and adding features. Maybe hybrid drives in notebooks by summer. Apple purchased alot of Samsung's future flash memory. Samsung introducing 32 gig flash harddrive in June.
That 'One More Thing' has become so predictable, it ain't even funny more.
What do you mean? He has not done it on a regular basis for a few years. He has thrown it back in the past couple of times, but it's not a sure thing anymore. You never really know if it's coming or not. Typically I think it's only used on new products, or completely revised products, but that's just my guess.
While it's true that Steve doesn't pull the 'One more thing' trick very often nowadays, 'One more thing' would not be appropriate for the Pro towers.
Why? Because everyone's expecting it considering it's the only remaining (if we don't count Xserves) Mac with a PPC chip in it...and considering it would be announced at the WWDC.
It just wouldn't be a surprise. If Steve wants to surprise us, Apple should ship the Pro towers before the WWDC when the Woodcrests start shipping. It's not like Pro towers need coverage. The people buying the towers know they're coming, they don't need an announcement.
At WWDC, a "one more thing" product would be something like an "iPod Pro," whatever the hell that would entail. I agree that PMs wouldn't be a very good choice for that.

Introducing the iPod Pro, powered by quad Woodcrests. It doesn't just play music, it composes music on the fly depending on your mood, using artificial intelligence and a simulated symphony orchestra.

Woodcrest will be shipping by late June early July. I sincerely hope that Apple isn't going attempt to wait until August. However WWDC might be nice to announce Xserve Intel based product. That would complete the transition.

Yes,
In dreams even a MacBook Pro can have a desktopclass chip like Conroe.
