    Thanks for the advice ApplePi. All I want my site for at the moment is to promote my design for print services, but in the future I would like to offer a web design service as well.... think that's a long way off though!!!!

    Hi Tony,

    Just a heads-up:

    The second sentence of the last paragraph under "about tall" should read:

    "Tall Design has experienced fantastic success since its launch."

    it's = it is.

    its = belonging to it.

    The site looks nice, by the way, but is a bit slow. Also, I third the suggestion that you stick with HTML, and extend to CSS. It should be possible to do everything you want with HTML + CSS.

    If you want to use Flash, surely there will be a learning curve associated with it? Why not invest the time learning open standards such as HTML and CSS instead of learning a proprietary standard for which you need expensive tools?

    Mr. H - please excuse my ignorance, but what is CSS?

    Thanks for the spell check! Like I said it's still a work in progress, all the text is pretty much just dummy text.

    I already have a copy of Flash, and I used to play around with it a little bit, so I just need to refresh my memory. I would like to learn more about HTML etc, so if you know of any good tutorial sites then please let me know.

    Cheers

    CSS

    Unfortunately, I don't really know anything about web coding either. All I do know is that HTML and CSS are a lot more powerful than most people realise, you can do a lot of the things that people do in JavaScript with CSS instead.
