    Actually, my "duh" was not directed at you. Also, I did read the discussion, and I believe that nagromme's usage of the word "cosmetic" was the second of my suggestions: he was saying that the problem is one of appearance. It is.



    Apple does not normally fix those (presumably because they are nearly always caused my misuse or people just not taking enough care). If a cosmetic issue is caused by material defects though, as in this case, Apple will fix it.

    it's 2021, and my 3 months old Macbook Pro 16" Space Grey has some discolouration, and Apple refuse to acknowledge the problem, I'm just waiting for more people to have this problem and share it, I've found some complains online, but guess still not enough to get Apple's attention.

    I'm not entirely sure whether posting in a thread concerning white plastic laptop cases from FIFTEEN YEARS AGO is a good way to gather attention.
