Go on and on about Copland. Apple's failure with Copland is not an excuse for Microsoft's failure with Vista.
I'm going on about Copland -- blissfully long-dead history from my point of view -- because you seem to want to paint Vista as a Coplandesque disaster: e.g. something that will not ship, because it's a conceptual failure of a project that will have to be scrapped entirely.
Sorry, but it's either wishful thinking or pure BS, and I'm calling you on it. Vista's development has something of a fiasco for MS (and a blessing for Apple)... but it isn't going to be scrapped. The question is whether it will ship in early '07 or several months later.
If you really think Vista won't ship, show some technical reasons why instead linking to blogs tweaking MS for their endless number of embarrassing delays.

Don't be coy. You know you love them. Here--have another blog.
The fact is, no one who is intelectually honest can make a leopard v Vista judgment call right now; no one has seen Leopard outside of Apple software dev (and hardware dev to the extent that they work with the software guys) And no one knows what to expect with Vista, MS may have a beta out now, but they are not calling it "feature complete" yet, tehy are adding and removing features and changing things in Vista at a break-neck speed for an OS platform that should go GM to volume licensing, which means the most lucrative customers who demand the most from their systems, in the next 100 days...
the answer is wait till we see a vista designated as "release candidate" and the obligitory "NDA leakage" about whatever Apple shows next week.

There is nothing "mini" about Vista.

I stand corrected.
