    You didn't BTO did you? Try again, and strip off as much as you can. Remember, you can get cheaper parts from NewEgg, or if you already have some. IDE can be used on SATA with a simple adapter.



    The RAM may be an issue though... not sure where to get the heat sinks from....





    *edit* hmm... thinking (ok, obsessing) about the MacPro and a tabletized version of the MBP... If Apple were to release a convertable MBP, I do believe I would just go ahead and get both that and a mac pro. Come oooon, STEVE, GIMME MY TABLET!!!!!! PLEASE!! I swear I'll never buy another windows pc again as long as I live if you do! I've learned from that horrible mistake!
