Theres new commercials on the front page of Apple's website. Maybe this means that the new macbook pro will be released soon. who knows..
Well, Mac Pro seems to have met the end of it's 15 minutes.
Is it just me, or were the first two batches better?

LMAO there's a circular link at the bottom of the page!!! takes you right back to the same page! Haven't seen that since "The Really Big Button That Doesn't Do Anything"!

Is it just me or does anyone else notice the striking resemblences of the Gates and Jobs looking charactors. Looks like a retro to their college days. this is really funny I love em
Seconded. Why would they put new ads up on the main page for only 24 hours? September 5.
Because the adds are nondescript enough that it doesn't matter. Also all of them fade to MacBooks at the end, so if the MacBooks are not being re-designed on the outside it doesn't matter. And finally it wouldn't take much to swap out the computer that fades in at the end if the design changed enough. Curiously absent from the end of the three is the iMac.

Yeah, and if those ads sit on the front page longer then September 5 I'm going to be throughly annoyed. Waiting for the page to load the video with no way to pause it other then clicking of the page quickly is really a pain. Here's to September 5th so it gets the ads off the main site -- and that new iMac's come out.

As you can see, they have been there longer than 24-48 hours. And that answer doesn't really make much logical sense. The quote you quoted was in response to the suggestion that they were only placeholders for about 8 hours, and that they would be changed after that. Still doesn't make sense to pin up new ads for such a short period of time, since you really wouldn't get much use out of them being on the front page. Especially since very few people in the US, which that site is designed for, as opposed to Apple's other regional sites, would actually see it.

Good stuff IMO, especially Trust Mac.

Trust Mac's the funniest, but Accident, I think, is the "best" of the three.
Oh, and to add to the conspiracy theory: weren't the last three commercials released just before the MacBook, too?

TABLEEEEEEEET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
<Gets tackled and forced into straight-jacket>
I like Trust Mac - they got the interplay between the characters nailed there.
oh and I'd like to see Merom around tuesday, thanks Steve.
So I guess there is a good possiblity then that we could see some new hardware updates tomorrow or tuesday even.
I would give it a little while longer. I think Apple will want to ride these out for a little longer.

Amazing what some users accept as normal
