    That should do it, yes.



    To make double-triple-sure, you can do the following:



    Launch /Applications/Utilities/Terminal



    You'll get a text-only window, this is staring right into the guts of OS X. Type the following line, then hit return:



    ls /



    You should see Volumes in the list. If so, all is good.



    Close the window, and quit Terminal.

    No clue, since the iPod hides files in its own directory structures, and I'm not sure how videos are stored on it.



    Have you tried plugging it in, and launching Front Row?

    I currently have no music on my computer(just got it). So when I plug in my iPod and go to access my playlists or videos, or music, it says I have none. I was just wondering if there was a way to get to it, but I can always backup my iPod if it's impossible, except that would be an extra 20 gb of space I would like to keep if it is possible.
