    Doubtful, since it's a cross-platform product. It's not a MacPod, or MacTunes, afterall.

    Except, of course, that means that you can't use it for video at the same time as using the remote, unless, you're willing to put up with bright flashes in the video stream... :}

    Wait a minute. My eyes can't see infrared, why should the video show bright flashes from infrared? That doesn't make any sense.

    Because your eyes (unless you've had some radical surgery I'm unaware of) are not video cameras.

    Video cameras pick up IR. I've seen this myself, pointing my DV camera at its own remote control. You can see the IR LED light up on screen, even though you can't see anything as a human.

    Eww, you're right! Just tried it with Apple Remote and PhotoBooth. It's a white light though.

    So all you have to do is buy an Apple remote and you're on your way.

    I hope you're right - they've also made huge advancements in size for the iSight camera - i hope we can see something similar to this when it comes out. A price drop would also be fantastic.

    Besides, if this is the "Extreme", what are they going to call the 802.11n version? The Airport OMG? This is where version numbers are a GOOD thing. "Airport 2" would have been a good name for it.

    On a separate note, if they're updating the model, perhaps they can support 802.11a now that most of their current lines of computers also support 802.11a.

    How about Airport 06 lol

    I think they should rename it 'Airplane'. Their advertising slogan could be "Don't call me Shirley."
