FWIW, Leopard adds A2DP support, but I don't believe it adds AVRCP.

Anything in there about VPN? Until my admin fixes OpenSwan, I can't get in through the Mac because it sends my NATed IP along with my public one.

Microsoft released Windows 3.11 and open source lists components as version x.y.x so 10.4.10 is not unrealistic.

Though I agree with you point, I really doubt that we'll be seeing anything but security updates between 10.4.9 and 10.5. Apple has been really stretching out it's releases lately. 10.4.8 has already been out for nearly 3 months now, when they're history of updates has been half that time.

I think the fact that 10.4.9 isn't available yet is a cleat indication that Leopard will not be released at MWSF. I figure 10.4.9 will be released in the 2nd half of January with Leopard following about 2.5 to 3.5 months later.

I wish to god that Apple woud just release a 10.4.10 update just to put this stupid debate to rest once and for all. It's driven me nuts since 10.2.

No, sorry, no matter how many time we say it, clueless people will STILL insist that it's a decimal system, even though it's obviously not, even at the most casual inspection. (Hint: 10.4.9 is a number in what numeric system, exactly?) Education can't seem to spread faster that the speed of silliness in this instance.

I just hope it fixes some of the annoyances we all currently have.

It would be interesting to see a 10.4.10 update

How about Apple fixing some of the real issues that I encounter on a daily basis using 10.4.8 PPC:

-Scroll bars disappearing in Finder windows

-Finder window placements/size/view etc type not working on burned CD's

-Changes to default file handlers not sticking

    -Safari memory leak

But what happened to MacOS A.0? That should have taken place before 10, surely?

    Hi sorry for late reply

I did try, but never got it to work - then again I didn't give it a fullblown go. I did however find out that you need some links to make it happen - hope they help ... let me know if you get it to work!
