Naysayers are down to 55%. Wooo000t!! This means 50-50 of those who want 14/15" MacBook and those who don't because I impose a 5% margin of error on this poll

In other words, using a 5% margin to fake the numbers

I seem to remember the iBook coming in two sizes. I also seem to remember about 95% of entry level PCs being 15 inchers.

It did, but it's now one size fits all for the Macbook. Where as the iBook had 12" and 14", the Macbook is just 13.3"

I wish any new small notebook/tablet/reader incorporates eReader eInk technology and a swivel screen. Digital publishing needs additional draw to really advance. Paper publication is so passe. Save the trees.

If Apple pumps out a 15" MacBook, I'll buy one for my wife the same day. She wants a notebook for around home, but I'm not going to drop $2k on one. Something closer to $1,000 is what I want...

Most of the cheap Windows 15 inchers actually have the same 1280x800 or less than the 13.3 Macbook though. You usually have to pay more to get the same resolution as the 15.4" Macbook Pro at 1440x900 in Windows laptops.

Of course, some people don't actually notice that - they just see 15" instead of 13".

Personally, I want a 10.1" Macbook (or Pro). The current laptops are all too large.

It would be pretty cool is mb came in 13", 15" cuz 15" is a popular low end market.

Then apple could hit back with an 11" or 12" mbp.

And shit while we're at it appease me with a mid tower, thus making the mac product line complete.

1280x800 for 14" wide or 15" wide is not that bad though, at least things are more readable than the 13" MacBook 1280x800 which I find to tiny and "compressed". It's funny, I thought there'd be a move from 1024x768 to 1280x1024... But funnily enough in the laptop-mainstream space it's 1280x800 for 14" and 15" which is less pixels. Nonetheless, like I said, 1280x800 in 14" wide or 15" wide is readable and higher res that 1024x768, and is 720p HDTV level compliant*.

*HDTV 720p dealie-o more in terms of movie trailers and Elgato EyeTV HDTV receiving on your laptop.

Then you'll not like MacBook Pros as their screen font is smaller and more compressed than the MacBook.

Personally I find the cheap 15" screen font sizes to be like reading large print books for the hard of understanding.
