I dont think people are really comprehending the importance of this release. After X was released, each area of software had a heavy-weight that needed to be ported. Word/Processing, business: Microsoft Office, design & publishing: Adobe Photoshop, (there are a few other areas with less defined leaders) but absolutely Audio Production/studio: Digidesign ProTools. This is one of the last big beast apps that needed to be ported. Logic for X, great, but it aint the industry standard and doesnt look like it will be any time soon. Cheers for all the important apps being ported to X.

Well you miss two areas
1) Post-Production and Animation: We "need" Softimage XSI
2) Multimedia authoring: Director
These are the 'absent stars'
just went to the wbsite and it looks like it will be supported!!!!
2) Multimedia authoring: Director

Director for OS X is apparently due this spring.
