    The iPod is already mobile. If you are referencing my choice of words above, I have to say I could be wrong in this case because "iPod Mobile" just doesn't sound right.

    It's not strong enough, it's too common a word. It would be like calling the phone "goodbye".

    The service will be called AppleMoble and the phone's will have different names, probably some variation of Pod or something :>

    LOL... with Apple buying the old World Com building a year back or so and the way the WSJ article states Cingular providing "the service" Im 90% sure its MVNO

    Cingular was one of my reasons too, but my main reason was Apple would want it like that, I feel they would anyway.

    Im just salivating having Apple's great service translated to my cell phone... imagine the possibilities if Apple does the whole thing - ala iPod...

    I think they are going to offer the phones via the Apple MVNO or as open phones. There will be a discount if you use Apples MVNO. That way they get people to buy the phones both ways
