Dude, stop being an ass. Secondly, do you mean to tell me the short week and travel had nothing to do with it? There was no reason, other than ratings, to do that. That's what drove it.
Come off it. His team won. You're on here whining about false starts so I thinks it's perfectly legitimate for him to give you a little crap.
For being a Philly fan, you've got an awfully thin skin.

Who's "he?" I certainly don't have thick skin, I just think you're refusing to acknowledge that the officiating was part of the Saints' win. They played a great game and the Eagles gave up way too much on D, don't get me wrong. But to say that it was called fair is frankly bullshit.

I agree, you don't have a thick skin
Frankly, the idea that it wasn't a fairly called game is what's bullshit. The game was officiated perfectly fairly. I watched, and I wasn't rooting for anybody. You're simply being an irrational fan.
There's nothing wrong with that (see my own irrational post about GB above), but you've got to have some self-recognition of what you're doing.

Then go back and watch the African American offical and his demeanor when calling against the Eagles. Then tell me he wasn't excited to call against them.
Doesn't really matter now anyway. Saints had a great run. I am very proud of the team and happy for the city. They needed it as silly as that sounds.
Chicago beat us fair and square.
Yes, they did. And if I thought there were crappy calls in that game, I would have said so. The fact is that I have nothing against the Saints. I also think the officiating in the NFL this year on the whole was atrocious.

I looked for a video clip and couldn't find one. As I said, I watched the game. I don't recall any excitement or glee by the official.
If this was some horrible call, engineered by the powers that be in the NFL or the actions of some rogue official, why didn't anyone in the Eagles organization, player or coaches, complain? Why were there exactly no newspapers articles about this supposed terrible piece of officiating?
It was the correct call, and every official in the league makes that call. It was a loud stadium, a silent count, and a backup playing for your injured pro-bowl starter, and he moved before the snap. There is no debate about it. It happened.
While I was searching for the play on youtube, I did find this clip

I'm not just talking about one play. What do you think of the officiating in the league in general this year?
Other than over-protecting the quaterbacks with unnecessary roughing the passer penalties, I thought the officiating was fairly good this year. Not outstanding, but quite a bit better than last year (which was definitely not their best year. Overturning Polomalu's - sure i'm spelling that wrong - interception in the AFC championship game being the worst officiating blunder I can recall in my lifetime).
