don't hold you breath on director. i have friends who work in adobe/macromedia and last i heard director's codebase had been shipped off to india just for maintenance. it's not one of the main apps under active development unless something's changed recently.
Last I heard there was a grand total of 4 people working on it. I guess since the Adobe acquisition it's been pushed further to the side.

I sure do tech support for people who are. Most of them aren't as weird as to put such an app in their Dock for everyone to see, though.
Except yours likely doesn't have KCNscrew on it.

I used to do the same thing with the menu on OS 9 and earlier.
I do use "Dock Exrender" which I like, and have been using for many years now. I have quite a few things in virtual folders, grouped together.
