Guys, although it's true,buy on the rumor and sell on the news and the fact that Apple does less business in the next quarter - and has a tradition of falling just now. Enough to make most day traders sell.
The other news is the people are buying less PC's in general, or the expansion of sales is less then before. So the although Apple has the continued growth, perhaps the future potential growth looks like less than before - and is then factored in to the price. However, usually the market does the over-react first.
Some of the hot money (gas) goes out of the stock and there will be re-evaluation of how much it's really worth. The key to making money short-term will working out what is good value for Apple stock..right now..
any ideas?
I had some some money lying around I would definitely buy in at low 80's - given the opportunity...
Drat. There I was thinking I had been offered a job and insulted both on the same day! Good thing I didn't have any bets on that. 8)

Ahaha yeah, I had to use the PC. :P Can't take my powerbook to school. Too many hooligans and theives. And yeah, I'm in 4th year Japanese now. Went there last summer for a few weeks, can't wait to go back.
That's pretty bad about the stock.. I only own about 68 shares of AAPL, but hope to increase that soon.. Its made me over $6000 now. But of course I'll still hold on to it for quite a while.

Somewhere around 15 years and loving every minute of it (except for Apple Japan ). If Apple USA were run the same way, stocks would be in the red zone.
