AI is easily 3x faster.
Oh...since it adjusts your preferences you shouldn't have to re-apply it after every nightly build. Unless of course they change the preferences somehow.
so, for yous guys who got faster speeds, what kind of connection are you on? modem, dsl, isdn, cable, t[123], ..?
Thanks!
And yeah, while not enormously so, things are definitely faster after running it.
Thanks!

i'm not wholly sure how this pipelining thing worx, but i think its dependant (somewhat?) on the type of connection peeps is on.

It obviously depends on server-side bandwidth and your own bandwidth. If you're on a modem...you won't see any benefit from pipelining. In fact you might perceive slower performance since your computer will be sucking several http requests through a straw.
If you're on a cable modem or DSL line, some servers will try to divide their bandwidth among client requests. HTTP pipelining merely increases the number of simultaneous requests, increasing your share of the total requests made to the server at any one time.
Another issue may be bandwidth throttling. Many ISPs throttle their bandwidth so that you get blazing fast transfer speeds at the beginning of a connection which tapers off for longer connections. Since web browsing usually deals with lots of small files, you usually finish downloading each individual file before the transfer begins to throttle down noticeably. This is amplified by HTTP pipelining since the files won't be served over one stream.
