Since I hooked up playstation2 online, its hard to sit at my computer and play games on a 19inch monitor(LAME). but I used to play Rainbow6 and rouge spear on Gameranger all the time...really.
but since those games are not oSX I quit playing them. After Jaguar was released I can't bring myself to boot 9 or classic.its like it was all a bad dream.
Which gamepad are you talking about? The only gamepad I know of that supports force feedback on the Mac side is the MacAlly iShock II, which I've considered buying.

That sounds like the one I am talking about. I saw it on Apple's great Holiday Gift Guide. It looks like it's actually been out for a while. You can tell just by its clear plastics that differ from the newer, "clear white" style peripherals Macally now makes.
games i have: ghost recon, starcraft, mohaa, ut, giants: cit kabuto, sof2 mp, oni, power pete, Warcraft3, warcraft2, warcraft1, deus ex, civ 2or3, 4x4 evolution, all the tomb raiders, prince of persia, spider-man.
Games I play (for now): warcraft3, ghost recon, mohaa, sof2mp on gameranger (except warcraft3)
ps: can i join other servers on Ghost Recon even if i don't know the IP ?
Main one is MOH although I've just finished it - what a disappointing ending. Diablo 2, Myth 2, wolfenstein MP demo and recently went back to Monkey Island 1 + 2 when afflicted with a bout of nostalgia.
yes, works fine under OS 10. It's the USB version. but I'm not sure if it's gonna work with other flight simulation games than X-Plane. I don't have Fly! II.

Hi
You were right, very nice stick, i just returned from best buy and i really like that one. Looks like support for it is already built into FLY, but it's rather funny, Z axis works np, X and Y are working but not fully. :-) There is an option to test axis and it works fine for all of them, but i can't assign any axis other than Z. So now i'm in process of downloading latest patches, hoping that this will solve it, if not i can always run it under classic.
But the joystick is absolutely perfect. Thanks again
I used to play Ceasar II and III, and enjoyed Diablo II for quite some time. Escape Velocity was one of the neatest ever, but then I liked Space Potatoes when it first came out too (way back in the TRS80 days)
Since upgrading to OSX, though, I find the hassle of booting into OS9 has kinda sapped any real enjoyment of these games. Besides, the space these games took up on my hard drive can now be used for storing music...
I'm playing Infinity again (in OSX thanks to Aleph One)! I make it a point to play them all once a year. Good times.
Although, my nephew was watching my play the other day, and I told him that they just don't make games like these anymore. He said 'What, you mean with really bad graphics?"

Most common: (a few times a day) --
When Sober or not:
- "let's see if she's home now and not doing anything." A text based terminal game involving en0 and promisc.
Less Common: A few times a month --
When Sober, or at least only partially inebriated:
- various emulated console games
- various Escape Velocity games made by Ambrosia et al.
- various RTS games made by Blizzard
And when not:
- Reckless Drivin'
- The Cow Catching Game
- various Escape Velocity games
- Shufflepuck (old school)
- Stuntcopter (really old school)
