I hope she goes to jail for the full 45 now, and that the Sheriff is reprimanded. What would really be interesting is if it was proven that the whole thing was planned from the beginning...maybe with the Sheriff on the take. Maybe she promised to make a "tape" with him if he let her out. That way he could come "supervise" her detention.

I think it was planned well ahead of time. This is a woman that was reported to be nearing a break-down weeks ago when jail time was being considered. But when it actually come time to go to jail, she decides to go to the 'real' jail instead of the special jail. Other than PR, why would she choose the more difficult location, when just the thought of it was breaking her?
I think she agreed to the tougher location with the knowledge/agreement that she would walk out in a couple days. Three days in a less comfortable jail is better than 45 in the posh jail...but only if you know that it will be a shorter stay.
