As for ZFS, I feel for you guys but I was never convinced it was going to make it so soon in Mac OS X. Perhaps in the October official release but I don't think so.
uh...im not a developer so i guess i will leave it to the experts to say whether that totally blew or not. am i missing something?! WTF?!
that had to be the shittiest keynote ever. what new features did we see in leopard? there was really almost nothing there that isnt already up on the preview page.
In one of the live feeds, it was mentioned that the Leopard beta will not be available to developers who did not attend WWDC and would be the final developer release until it hits stores.
Well, now that I've wasted an hour of my life, I'll go back to doing something productive and new.
Ditto.

Or at least most flaunted apps... it is strange... no iLife '07? Or even '08, it seems... maybe in October we'll see something.

iPhone! - "Woohoo! No sh**!"
Exclusive to Cingular... - "Well... that's a bummer... maybe if the price is right..."
$500-$600 - "Sonofa... "
Now, Leopard depreciated and pushed back - *buys iPhone just to destroy it in frustration of what it's done*
Don't get me wrong, I think it's a great product that's revolutionary and can do a ton, but there are certain things that make it not so attractive to me (see above).

Hmmm, that is odd. The only reason I could think is that the discs contain something more than they showed and they wouldn't want that to get lost in the mail. For anything else, they'd know exactly who to blame.
He didn't even mention the words Top Secret in the whole Keynote.
See my above post. It's causing the rest of Apple to fall behind and lose its impressiveness... this thing better be successful or I'm going to kick whoever made the decision to pursue the iPhone... even if it did turn out to be Jobs...
Uh yeah and that's utter bullshit. I've had a Mac since 1985, and this is easily one of the best periods for Macs. And that's setting aside ipod/itunes/iphone. Leopard looks to be one of the major OS X upgrades they've had. I'm not sure what you people are expecting: A multi-touch Bluray tivo transporter? Jobs doesn't do hardware upgrades at keynotes anymore, and hasn't for years, unless it's a whole new product like the iPhone or a completely re-designed Mac.
The only thing I'm disappointed about is lack of word on iLife and iWork.

Of course, one top secret Leopard feature.
This has been one insulting WWDC presentation.
Man, that was lame.
No ZFS? At all? And why did the AppleStore go down?
Man, that was lame.
It was only the US one. Was there something US-exclusive in this keynote?

unbelievable
ZFS got "Steved" from the keynote. But it'll probably show up soon.
Where the heck is my spreadsheet?

There is a new Finder and desktop. That's all.
That's really odd.
